Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC Unveiled, Brings Improved Gaming, Camera, AI Capabilities to Mid-Range Smartphones

Mobile devices featuring the Snapdragon 675 can support up to three back camera detectors together with 5x optical zoom. Additionally, there are built-in enhancements to help Portrait Mode and Bokeh impact as well as enable HDR to decrease noise and improve colours. The frontal detectors on a hardware featuring the Snapdragon 675, on the other hand, can support 3D Face Unlock features.

Alongside unveiling the Snapdragon 675 SoC, Qualcomm has announced its Quick Charge technologies is now powering over 1,000 mobile devices, such as 200 compatible devices, 700 accessories, and 100 controls. The most up-to-date in the Quick Charge household is the Quick Charge 4+ technology that has enhanced Dual Charge, intelligent thermal reconciliation, and various layers of innovative safety features. The brand new technology is claimed to be 30 percent more effective than Quick Charge 4. It comes with a brand new battery sensing technology that directly measures the voltage of this battery cell and let the system offer an accurate view of the battery’s present condition to reduce charge times. Plus, there is support for USB Power Delivery (USB PD) as well as USB Type-C interfaces.
