Public Wi-Fi in Delhi
Telecom firm Tata Docomo has joined fingers with the brand new Delhi Municipal supplier or NDMC for providing Wi-Fi service to Connaught location, a commercial hub within the heart of the national capital.
“NDMC has partnered with Tata Teleservices to offer Wi-Fi carrier, with a purpose to cover the inner and outer circles of one of the crucial significant trade and entertainment centres within the city,” Tata Docomo mentioned in a remark.
The primary 20 minutes of the carrier could be free of value and after that one has the choices of buying a recharge card, starting from Rs. 10 for 30 minutes, Rs. 20 for 60 minutes and Rs. 50 for 180 minutes, it said.

Launching the service, BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi said, “These initiatives are in step with top Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Digital India, which might let higher transparency and better governance”.
Tata Docomo already gives such services in different public areas including T3 international Airport.
“The deployment of Wi-Fi services and products in some of the largest public open-areas within the metropolis is a nod to the emerging traits of data consumption, especially via millennial.
