My mother-in-law who is beyond the age of 60 needs her cell phone prepaid card to be recharged almost every week. There are 2 reasons, first, she talks a lot and second, she will not let us recharge her phone with more than Rs. 150 at one time. According to her the telecom companies are cheating her big time. Once the recharge is done the balance is over as soon as she makes a few calls. At her age it is difficult for her to step out every time and go find an outlet to get her prepaid card recharged. We tried many futile attempts to get her change it to post paid. So suddenly in the middle of an urgent office meeting we get a call from her saying “do something the balance is over”.
So when I heard about Mobikwik on the leading tech sites, I literally heaved a big sigh. On the Mobikwik mobile app or its website, recharge is done within no time. It is India’s top most and fastest service provider for online recharge. Prepaid mobile phone recharge can be done on the Mobikwik site www.mobikwik.com where it is available right on the home page. Or one can download the Mobikwik app for Mobile Recharge and Bill Pay from the below options: the Google Play store for Android users and the Apple App Store for iOS users. And, the Windows Phone Store for the Windows users.
The mobile app lets you recharge the prepaid card of any mobile number in a jiffy. You can also use the Mobikwik Wallet to pay for the recharge. And if you use Mobikwik Wallet within a turnaround time of 5 seconds your cell phone is recharged and you can start making calls instantly.
The process is free of any charges helps you save a lot of effort that is put in going to a retail outlet and waiting for the operator to recharge the phone. It gives you the freedom to recharge your mobile phone anytime and anywhere be it office, vacation, outing, etc. This service is available for all leading providers like Docomo, Vodafone, Airtel, Idea, BSNL, Reliance, Videocon and Aircel .One can browse through plans (2G or 3G) for any of these service providers as per the city and pick up the plan suited to one’s needs. I use mostly online Airtel online recharge.
Before downloading the app I went through the reviews on Google Play. There were mixed reviews however the app itself has got a 4.5 rating. Some of the reviews were promptly answered by the support team. If the payment is done but the recharge is not successful then the customer can request for a refund by filling the customer support form, stating his Mobikwik balance and the message received after recharge has failed. Refund normally takes 3-5 working days.
Other than mobile recharge, one can use the app for the following services: DTH recharge for Dish TV ,Tata Sky, Airtel DTH, Sun Direct, Videocon D2H,etc. Data card recharge for MTS MBlaze, Reliance NetConnect, Tata Photon, & Idea Netsetter, etc. Utility payments like electricity (Reliance Energy, MSEB Mumbai, BSES Yamuna, etc.).
