Lamborghini’s Urus ‘super-SUV’ will soon be released in India on January 11, 2018, a bit more than a month following its global unveiling during its mum plant at Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.
While official pricing is only going to be declared on January 11, we could affirm that the Urus is going to probably be priced (sans alternatives that’s) under Rs 3 crore.
The Urus is going to be powered with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with power and torque ratings of 650hp at 6,800rpm and 850Nm in 2,240-4,500rpm respectively. Electricity is delivered to all four wheels and the rear-wheel-steering system in the Aventador S will also feature here. Lamborghini asserts the Urus is the world’s fastest SUV using a 0-100kph period of just 3.6sec, and 0-200kph taking all of 12.8sec.
