iPhone 6 Prototype

Bidding for a rare prototype of Apple’s new-era iphone 6 neared a whopping $a hundred,000 (roughly Rs. Sixty one.3 lakh) on ebay Monday, after the device seemed to have accidentally landed in a buyer’s arms.

“Apple does no longer let these phones out of their possession but I used to be by accident sent one upon renewing my contract,” a description posted on ebay by the vendor stated.

Bidding for the silver iphone 6 prototype with 64GB of memory had reached $ninety nine,800 (roughly Rs. 61.2 lakh) with 198 bids logged by using late Monday morning in California, where Apple is headquartered.

The vendor, recognized in on-line experiences as a US man, described the iphone as working in “actual developer mode” on trying out instrument called “switchboard” and now not on Apple’s latest ios eight running machine.

Bidders are warned that there is no guarantee the iphone will make calls or that the digital camera will operate. Transport will be free given the dizzying upward thrust in bidding, which is slated to end on October 9.

The instrument was plugged into an itunes account and known as an iphone, the outline stated.

The winning bidder is promised the tool, box, charger and headphones, along with the instrument’s bureaucracy.

“I would like to reiterate that this cellphone is being sold in As-Is condition,” the vendor wired.

“the one purpose you may also return this instrument is that if the software arrives DOA,” or dead on arrival.
