American technology giant Google has started a new office in Berlin it says will give it the room to expand in the German capital.
CEO Sundar Pichai said Tuesday that the distance means Google could double the amount of Berlin workers to 300. Google now has 1,400 workers in Germany.
Pichai says”that the town has long been a capital of media and culture. Now it is also home to some fast paced startup scene as well as also an engine for innovation”
Google Central Europe vice president Philipp Justus did not immediately deal with nice, but stated Google’s dedicated to transparency and transparency on what information is gathered and how it’s used.
